Q: How do you pack and ship out the goods?
A:For each piece of touch screen 10.1 inch LCD display, we will pack it in anti-static bag, and then pack it into blister tray or EPE foam
card slot in a certain quantity in one carton box. Each carton box will have inner and outbox boxes, so as to make sure
every LCD display will be packing well before shipping.
Q: What's the difference between Industry and Automotive grade display?
1. Temperature requirement
For LCD display, there are normally operating temperature and storage temperature. If for industry temperature, the operating temperature is -20 to +70℃, but for automotive display, the operating temperature is -30 to +85℃ or more wider. As we can see, the temperate range of automotive display is more wider comparing with Industry grade display. This is because automotive display need to be used for a long time in the extreme environments compared to industrial display, so they need a wider temperature range, and the cost is normally higher.
2. Requirement for brightness and life time
Normally for Automotive display, the brightness will need more high, as well as the life time will be more longer, like 50000 or 70000 hours. But for industrial display, normally it's 30000 hours. From the comparison of those parameters, it can be conclused that the brightness and life time of automotive display are higher, this is becacuse the central control display of the car have always been working under direct sunlight, the display need to be highlighed to see the screen clearly, and the industrial-grade display is mostly used indoors, so the brightness requirement is low. Also for the life time, automotive display is normally more than 10 years, much more longer than industrial display.
3. Reliability requirement.
Reliability is mainly divided into two aspects: enviromental testing and mechnical testing. For the reliability items of vehicle display, the temperature and duration of the test should be stricter than those of industrial screens.
4. Supply period
For industrial display, normally it's around 3 years, while for automotive display would be around 5~8 years.
